Susan is a senior editor based in the EJR-Quartz Leiden office. She is working on a range of short and long-term communication projects, including writing and editing web articles, social media and outreach for the Copernicus Marine Services and ESA.
After being awarded an MSc in Experimental Physics from the University of Dublin, Susan went on to become an editor writing across a wide spectrum of technology areas, from optics to microelectronics to embedded systems. Since 2013 she gained knowledge about space systems, Earth observation and ESA missions, while working as service manager for Telespazio UK based at ESTEC, the European Space Research and Technology Centre in Noordwijk.
