Sean is a senior editor for the European Space Agency’s Space Safety programme, based at ESTEC, in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Sean was previously responsible for ESA print publications.
Before that, Sean covered the ESA Technology, Navigation and Earth Observation beats, witnessed four launches and experienced weightlessness aboard a parabolic flight.
Holding a degree in English and Modern History and a Postgraduate Diploma in Journalism, Sean has contributed to Guinness World Records, BBC Focus and BBC Sky at Night magazines. He previously worked as a comic strip writer and in his younger days backpacked around six continents and overflew Antarctica.
