Nicky Jenner

Senior Science Editor, Space Science and Environment
Nicky provides specialist science writing and editing services for EJR-Quartz; she has worked across various clients and projects (including the Copernicus Marine Service, the German Aerospace Center (DLR) and Mercator Ocean International) and is currently providing editorial support for ESA Science.
 
Her experience and expertise spans space science and astronomy and Earth observation as applied to our understanding and protection of the environment. Nicky has worked as a science writer (freelance) for EJR-Quartz for many years, and also works as a Communications Officer at Imperial College London, UK. Previously she was the Public Information Officer for the NASA/ESA Hubble Space Telescope and European Southern Observatory; she has written a popular science book with Bloomsbury Publishing about Mars entitled ‘4th Rock from the Sun: The Story of Mars’; she has worked with a number of UK universities on science writing and editing projects; and has written for publications including New Scientist, Nature, Physics World, Astronomy Now, and Sky at Night Magazine. 
 
Nicky holds a BSc in Astrophysics (University College London), MSc in Science Communication (Imperial College London), and Postgraduate Diploma in Biodiversity, Wildlife, and Ecosystem Health (University of Edinburgh).
