Emma joined EJR-Quartz as an Editor in April 2025, writing and editing for a variety of clients, including ESA, DLR and EUMETSAT.
Previously, she spent nearly ten years as a freelance science writer, working with some of the UK’s foremost science facilities, including Diamond Light Source and ISIS Neutron and Muon Source.
Emma has a BSc in Physics with Astrophysics and an MSc in Ethnobotany, which she combines in her passion project – a podcast about growing plants in space, called Gardeners of the Galaxy.
