Alison joined EJR Quartz in 2019 after spending 25 years in journalism. She has held several roles with EJR-Quartz including corporate editor for the European Space Agency. She is a former staff writer on The Economist and she was European bureau chief at Nature, the world’s most authoritative science journal.
Alison has a degree in physics from Imperial College London, a master’s degree in science communication from the same institution, and she gained a degree in politics, philosophy and history through evening studies at Birkbeck College, London.
She lives with her family in London and enjoys open water swimming.
