Our graphics designers can help you with all aspects of your web project from designing a website to producing graphical content. Working with science specialists like our Science Office team, one of our strengths is in providing mathematically accurate and attractive multimedia graphics that present complex information in an easily understandable way.
Paxi
Ever wanted a cosmic companion to help you understand the stars? Meet Paxi, the friendly alien mascot for the ESA Education Office, designed to help curious minds aged 6 to 12 learn about space, Earth and the solar system. Behind the scenes, EJR-Quartz’s Science Office creates eye-catching animations, making sure they are accessible to an array of children, regardless of their nationality. That’s why episodes are available in 14 languages: English, French, Spanish, German, Italian, Dutch, Swedish, Portuguese, Finnish, Romanian, Czech, Danish, Norwegian and Polish. Navigate the Universe with Paxi in these videos. Beyond Paxi, EJR-Quartz’s staff currently curates and manages the entire ESA Education Youtube channel, bringing you fresh content that can be found on YouTube.

Mercator Ocean Explainers
For nine months, our EJR-Quartz and Science Office team put our heads together for Copernicus Marine Service and Mercator Ocean International (on behalf of the European Commission) to bring the Ocean Explainer series to life. These bite-sized explainers unpack important ocean topics – like deoxygenation, eutrophication and acidification – through clear webpages, infographics and animations. Dive in and explore the deep with us here.
Copernicus Marine Service’s Ocean Climate Portal
Copernicus Marine Service had a mission: to raise public awareness about vital ocean climate indicators. However, the goal wasn’t just to share data, but also to invite viewers to explore, interact and fully understand it. Working closely with Copernicus Marine Service’s communications team, web developers and suppliers, we built a new digital portal that takes a plunge beneath the surface of ocean science. Designed with a similar style to the Ocean Explainers (also made by us), we paid special attention to the layout of each page and the clarity of the text. The details were then refined through multiple rounds of approval from Copernicus Marine Service scientists. The finished product? A live, interactive portal which can be found here.
