Emma is currently working as an editor for the European Space Agency’s operations centre (ESOC) in Darmstadt, Germany. There, she helps ESOC communicate important milestones and operations events to B2B audiences.
Born in Urbana, Illinois in the United States, Emma first came to Germany as a high school exchange student in 2006. Soon, she became an expat, earning her Bachelor and Master of Arts in Teaching from the Technical University of Brunswick. She subsequently kicked off her editing career with a focus on motivational essays while exploring the globe as a full-time digital nomad. Now, having always been an avid science fiction enthusiast, she is excited to turn her editing talents to the space industry.
