Laylan joined the EJR-Quartz team in 2016 as an Editor for the German Aerospace Center, before moving to the ESA editorial team. In 2023 she started a new role as Producer for ESA Web TV, focusing on educational content.
Before this, she provided digital communications support for ESA’s social media channels, as well as editorial services for the Human and Robotic Exploration directorate. She joined ESA’s Education Office as editor and social media officer in 2018, managing Education and ESA Kids publications and social media channels. Laylan is a graduate of languages and literature and has previously worked as a translator, research consultant, and a writing teacher.
