Dirma is the Content Administrator for the English portal of the German Aerospace Center (DLR). She also helps maintain the ESA ‘Discovery & Preparation’ and ‘Space for Earth’ sites.
She previously worked on a number of sites maintained by EJR-Quartz, including ESA’s General Studies Programme. Until July 2003 she was on the ESA Science web team, based at ESTEC in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. Dirma studied in the Department of History at the Rijksuniversiteit of Leiden. She subsequently followed a postgraduate programme on information processing organised by Leiden University in cooperation with the Historical Institute and the Netherlands Institute for Scientific Information Services.
